So many talented players have taken to the field to show off their skills in the Intrust Super Cup competition.
With no football being played this weekend due to COVID-19, Queensland Rugby League has blown the dust off the archives and will take a trip down memory lane to see some of the best Cup players doing their thing and some of the best in the game during their time playing Cup.
Two of the listed five games will get a run this weekend – one on Saturday at 2pm and one on Sunday at at 2pm. Vote now for which games you want to see.

The options
Round 6, 2003 – Norths Devils v Easts Tigers
In 2003, the Norths Devils were the feeder club to the Melbourne Storm and had a number of NRL stars playing in the Queensland Cup; including Cooper Cronk, Wade Fenton and Antonio Kaufusi who all lined up at Bishop Park on this day. Easts were bolstered by notable fullback Wade Liddell, NRL winger Justin Loomans, Scott Thorburn, former Tigers coach Scott Sipple and Matt Lockyer – younger brother of Queensland legend, Darren. This clash went down to the wire; the Tigers roaring to victory 28-24.
Preliminary final, 2012 – Wynnum Manly Seagulls v Tweed Heads Seagulls
After Wynnum Manly claimed victory in the grand final flockbuster in 2011, Seagulls faithful from both sides packed BMD Kougari Oval for this do-or-die preliminary final. Meeting in the 2012 semi-final only two weeks earlier where Tweed got the chocolates 19-16, the Paul Green-coached red and green Seagulls featured a number of familiar faces; including current North Queensland Cowboys utility Jake Granville and former Brisbane Broncos Dane Carlaw and Mitchell Dodds, alongside Cup favourites Peter Gubb, Ben Shea and Luke Dalziel-Don. Tweed Heads, skippered by current Gold Coast Titans assistant coach Brad Davis, also featured now Canberra Raiders back-rower Ryan James and Cup journeyman Rod Griffin.
Round 19, 2016 – Redcliffe Dolphins v PNG Hunters
Christian Hazard broke many hearts on this day at Redcliffe. In an absolute thriller, the second-placed Dolphins claimed victory in the closing minutes over a resurgent Hunters side that featured current Melbourne Storm centre Justin Olam and PNG’s premiership-winning playmaker Ase Boas. Trailing 12-6 at the break, the visitors scored two quick tries to lead 20-12 for a majority of the match, until Redcliffe – who featured Cup stalwarts Jack Ahearn, Aaron Whitchurch, Darren Nicholls and Sam Anderson – stormed home with two late four-pointers to seal victory in an epic contest.
