Intrust Super Cup Team of the Week recognises the 17 best performers each round… in the absence of a game at the weekend, here is a look at who has featured the most so far this season.

Wynnum Manly Seagulls rake Jayden Berrell and Ipswich Jets hard man Nat Neale lead the number of appearances so far with five each, followed by electric Townsville Blackhawks winger Kalifa Faifai-Loa and Souths Logan Magpies weapon Kobe Hetherington, who have both appeared four times.

Tweed Seagulls super talent Jayden Campbell tops the skipper honours tally, having been named captain of Team of the Week twice this season.

These team selections are based not only on statistical data, but also take on board live and broadcast viewings of the games, with the standout performer of the week named captain.

Jayden Berrell

The Wynnum Manly hooker has appeared in Team of the Week five times so far this season and is one of the big reasons the side sits on top of the ladder after 11 rounds. Berrell is leading the 2021 Cup season try-scoring count with 10, is third for line breaks with nine and has been a consistent performer each and every round. Berrell also sat equal first on the Petero Civoniceva Medal tally after Round 10, prior to the count going behind closed doors.
