Luke Bateman

Bateman has been solid in attack and defence for Wynnum Manly this Cup season, starring in Team of the Week three times so far. Bateman has scored four tries in his 11 appearances, made 321 tackles with a 97 per cent tackle efficiency and averages 103 run metres. 

The other Wynnum Manly players to have starred more than once in Team of the Week are Jack Campagnolo and Sam Scarlett. 

Norths Devils

Brendan Frei

The Devils talent, who has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a knee injury, appeared three times in Team of the Week before his injury. The second rower scored five tries in six appearances and will definitely be missed by the Devils the back end of the season. Watch out for his return in 2022. 

The other Norths players to have starred more than once in Team of the Week are Tony Tumusa, Jack Ahearn, Tyson Gamble and Bernard Gregorius. 

Townsville Blackhawks

Kalifa Faifai-Loa

The Blackhawks flyer, who has appeared in Team of the Week four times this season, is all about the razzle dazzle. Faifai-Loa has scored eight tries, sitting equal third on the top try-scorers tally, and assisted in one try during nine appearances so far this season. Keep a look out for more flying corner tries that elicit big cheers from the crowd. 

The other Townsville player to have appeared in Team of the Week more than once is hooker Josh Chudleigh.

Brisbane Tigers

Jordan Grant

The talented Tigers prop, who is contracted to Melbourne Storm, has appeared in Team of the Week three times this season. Grant has scored two tries in six appearances, averaged 150 run metres and made 153 tackles with a 98.1 per cent tackle efficiency. 

Redcliffe Dolphins

Trai Fuller

The Dolphins speed demon is one dangerous player, difficult for opposition to handle. Fullers has scored four tries and assisted in two during his nine appearances so far this season, and has appeared in Team of the Week three times. Fuller has also averaged 159 run metres per game and is in the frame for the Petero Civoniceva Medal.

Cameron Cullen

The Dolphins skipper’s consistently good form has seen him in Team of the Week three times this season, and on last check-in with the Petero Civoniceva Medal tally, he sat equal first with Berrell. The handy half successfully guides the Dolphins around the park and has scored four tries and assisted in eight in 11 appearances this season.

The other Redcliffe players to have appeared in Team of the Week more than once are the dangerous Rocco Berry, who has scored four tries in three appearances, and talented prop Lachlan Timm. 

Tweed Seagulls

Jayden Campbell

The Seagulls fullback, who is contracted to the Gold Coast Titans and made his NRL debut this year, has been fairly unstoppable this season. The son of league great Preston Campbell has scored six tries in six Cup appearances, assisted in three tries and averaged 194 run metres per game. The 21-year-old has well and truly put himself in the mix for the Petero Civoniceva Medal early. 

The other Tweed players to have appeared in Team of the Week more than once are Talor Walters, who has scored nine tries in 10 appearances this year, and impressive centre Lee Turner. 

Souths Logan Magpies

Kobe Hetherington

Hetherington, who is contracted to the Brisbane Broncos and made his NRL debut this year, has performed consistently well for the Magpies and starred in Team of the Week four times from six appearances. The son of Maroons legend Jason Hetherington is solid in attack and defence; he has scored five tries this season, averaged 140 run metres per game and made 187 tackles with a 92.1 per cent tackle efficiency. 

The other Souths player to appear more than once in Team of the Week is centre Isaiah Tass, who has scored five tries and assisted in five in 10 appearances. 

Sunshine Coast Falcons

Thomas Rafter

The Falcons second rower has been solid for the Falcons this season, appearing in Team of the Week three times so far. Rafter has scored three tries and assisted in one in six appearances, averaged 72 run metres and made 209 tackles with a 90.5 per cent tackle efficiency. 

The other Sunshine Coast player to appear in Team of the Week more than once is Matt Milson, who has scored four tries and assisted in six in seven appearances.

Ipswich Jets

Nat Neale

The ‘chicken pesto pasta prop’ is one of the most consistent performers in the competition, and has been for some years now. Neale has appeared the most in Team of the Week, alongside Berrell, with five appearances so far this season from seven games. The 32-year-old has scored one try and assisted in two, averaged 144 run metres per game and made 233 tackles with a 96.7 per cent tackle efficiency. 

Central Queensland Capras

Lachlan Hubner

The Capras lock is a defensive machine. Hubner has featured in Team of the Week three times this season; he has scored three tries in 10 appearances, ran an average of 69 metres per game and made a whopping 420 tackles – the most of anyone in the competition – with a 90.3 per cent tackle efficiency. 

Nixon Putt

The Capras second rower is a force to be reckoned with on the field, mainly in attack. Putt, who has featured in Team of the Week three times this season, has scored four tries and assisted in one in 10 appearances, averaged 118 run metres per game and made 256 tackles. 

Burleigh Bears

The Burleigh players to star in Team of the Week more than once are solid trio Hayden Schwass, Luke Page and Sami Sauiluma. 

Northern Pride

The two Pride players who have appeared in Team of the Week more than once are consistent hooker Jayden Hodges and solid second rower Josh Stuckey. 

Mackay Cutters

The two Cutters players who have appeared in Team of the Week more than once are talented props Ross Bella and Jack Quinn.

PNG Hunters

The Hunters player to appear in Team of the Week more than once is Jokadi Bire, who has been ruled out for the remainder of the season.
