The Burleigh Bears enjoyed a successful 2021 season across the club and recently celebrated their achievements at their club awards events.

Sami Sauiluma (Intrust Super Cup) and Tazmin Gray (BHP Premiership) were the big winners on the night, with both taking home player of the year honours for 2021.

Gray was outstanding in the premiership-winning Bears team and also went on the play for the Harvey Norman Queensland Maroons, winning the Nellie Doherty Medal as player of the match. The second rower’s form through the season also saw her secure contract with the Gold Coast Titans in the NRLW.
