Tabuai-Fidow first came to the Cowboys attention after starring playing rugby union for Brisbane Grammar School in June 2017.
After signing with the Cowboys, Tabuai-Fidow returned home to Cairns and played under 18s for the Northern Pride in 2018. He relocated to Townsville in 2019 to attend Kirwan State High School.
Despite not turning 18 until mid-way through the pre-season, Tabuai-Fidow was the breakout star of the Cowboys’ victorious NRL Nines campaign in Perth in early 2020.
He made his NRL debut as a winger in Round 5 against the Warriors and quickly became a fixture in the Cowboys side, scoring six tries in 14 appearances.
Tabuai-Fidow is contracted until the end of the 2022 season.
