The important Turn to Me Round will be acknowledged this weekend when the Intrust Super Cup teams return to the field for Round 19.
Established in 2013 by then Redcliffe Dolphins players Petero Civoniceva, Isaak Ah Mau and Ipswich Jets chair Steve Johnson, the round focuses on increasing the awareness of – and normalising – mental injuries and reinforces the need for mateship during the off season.
This weekend, all players and match officials will wear blue socks, which represents a “clearing of the skies”, to acknowledge the round.
