Mrs Whittington said the pair would take the helm at Queensland Country Bank Stadium from the first home game of the season, the Cowboys clash against the Bulldogs on Sunday 13 March.

“Throughout the 2022 season, CK and I will make sure every footy fan at Queensland Country Bank Stadium has the opportunity to hear, see and interact with all the excitement of a Cowboys home game,” Mrs Whittington said.

“We’ll be keeping the crowd pumped before kick-off, getting fans involved in a packed schedule of half-time activities and wrapping it all up at the end of the game,” she said.

“2022 is going to deliver an absolute blockbuster season of entertainment and we’re proud to be doing our part to get North Queensland families back to the footy,” she said.

The broadcasters are well-known to listeners across the north, with Carley hosting hit103.1’s morning slot and #ThisIsTownsville podcast series; and CK a sought after radio, TV and newspaper contributor, host of afternoons on 102.3 Triple M and director of the region’s popular Puft Events food trucks initiative.
