The final regular round of the season will see players acknowledge Harvey Norman Women in League Round to celebrate the significant contribution women make to the game in all capacities; as players, match officials, administrators, volunteers and more.
All teams will wear special socks this weekend in a round of games that will be vitally important in the lead up to this year’s finals series.
Looking back at last weekend’s Round 16 match, the two identical score draws in the same round was only the second time this has occurred in Cup history. The only previous occasion it occurred was in Round 3 in 1998 when Easts and Burleigh, and Wynnum and Redcliffe both drew 22-22, however, it was not on the same day.
The most draws in a single round was in Round 20, 2012, when there were three draws.
