NRL veteran halfback Jarrod Mullen is hoping to help the Sunshine Coast Falcons go all the way in this year’s Intrust Super Cup season.

Joining the 2019 minor premiers after a four-year stint away from the game, the former New South Wales half is looking forward to the challenge after being given another chance to chase his dream.

“I am looking forward to the challenge… I am under no illusions that it is going to be tough; four years out of the game is a long time, but I have sacrificed a lot to get to get myself back this point,” Mullen said, when announcing his return earlier this year.

He will join PNG Kumuls rake Kurt Baptiste who signed with the club in 2020, but has only been able to wear Falcons colours once after the cancellation of last year’s season.

Sunshine Coast have also acquired the services of Cup stars BJ Aufaga-Toomaga and Paul Ulberg and Brisbane Rugby League live-wire Matt Milson.

The Falcons will host Northern Pride in Round 1, kicking off this weekend.
